About the boat
You'll be fishing aboard a 36 foot Charter Boat, fast and comfortable, which will get to the fish fast! Maine Lady III is a Northern Bay 36 well known as a fast, stable riding hull. Onboard is new technology Radar/GPS/Fishfinder. Feel safe and secure with a 12 foot 8 inch beam and a great riding hull. Plenty of room to move around and fish, CD stereo, XM Satelitte Radio, Ipod ready and a clean bathroom (head) are included.

About INSHORE fishing
The best inshore fishing is done around Casco Bay and Saco Bay close to Portland Maine and Pine Point Maine. We fish for striped bass starting in mid June. We also fish for pollack, mackeral, and blue fish. All the fishing spots are within 10-45 minutes (weather depending) from the dock. The Captain or mate will fillet fish for take home.

About Offshore Fishing
Looking for some real deep sea action? Offshore trips are available for Tuna or Shark, cod and Haddock. Haddock and cod are on the comeback and are the bread and butter of our fishing service. This is the best way to get a lot of fish to fill your belly and fill your freezer. Tuna fishing is done 10 to 40 miles offshore and we target Giant Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. Arguably the one of the best gamefish in all the oceans. Look at this great catch.

Sharks are caught anywhere from 10-40 miles offshore depending on the season. We catch Blues, Mackeral Shark (Porbeagle)r and Mako sharks. Shark fishing is most sucessful when targetted exclusivly. Sometimes we do combos: cod fishing and shark fishing, its best to book the 10-12 hour trip. Come try for that Mako this summer!
